Was Secret Wars pitched to fix the 'errors' or complication in the Marvel Universe, to make writing stories for all these fantastic characters better?

No, SECRET WARS was pitched to tell a story. Building stories to fix errors is a sucker’s game, you can never eliminate all of the errors. This is fiction!
I know right Marvel would never build a story just to fix something they thought was an ‘error’
And they certainly wouldn’t make a follow up to explain the errors of the thing which was done to fix the errors
